Steeped News is a daily news site that shows the same story as covered by Left, Center, and Right outlets, side by side. It is for readers who want that spread instead of one outlet's take. Steeped News is not a Left, Center, or Right outlet itself. It lines up reporting from those outlets so you can compare the coverage. It is not the Substack called steeped.
Hey — I built Steeped because nobody should have to keep five news tabs open just to figure out what actually happened today. Every morning the site pulls the past 24 hours from outlets across the spectrum and lines them up side-by-side: Left Ground, Middle Ground, Right Ground. Same news, three angles, no doom-scroll required. (How each outlet lands in Left, Center, or Right is my own best-effort call — opinion, not a verdict on anyone’s journalism — and I’ll gladly fix any I’ve placed wrong.)
There are dedicated panels for World, Economics, Health, Entertainment, Politics, and Sports too — straight from each outlet’s own RSS, ranked by recency. No algorithm guessing what you want, no infinite feed, no notifications begging you to come back tomorrow.
The Homebrew is a daily brief drawn from the biggest headlines across all three columns, with every source cited. Steeped's AI newsroom drafts it, and it is published only after fact check and legal review clear it. It is credited to Kriss only on days he personally reviews it. Think of it as the cheat-sheet I always wanted before starting my day.

No ads, no ad or analytics trackers, no personalized feed. Pick your roast (Dark or Light), brew your news, get on with your day.

Another day, another series of warnings from Democratic and liberal media figures that they are going to try to put their political opponents in jail if they take back control of government.
Under Kamala Harris, he might be in jail right now, right? He is correct. And that's not because of she's some avenging fury. It's because there's a lot of questions around different companies of his. So if Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. Democrats say a Trump lawsuit is meant to nullify the vote in Alaska. That suit won't work-but a suspicious candidate may be the real spoiler, writes Jed Rubenfeld.
"We should seriously look at expanding the court while the Democrats are in power," former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said of the Supreme Court on the High Stakes podcast last week. "You know, it used to be that you'd have one justice for each circuit. We now have 13 circuits, we should have 13 justices."

A pair of Trump-friendly right-wing populists took a one-two punch Sunday: Brazil rejected a Bolsonaro comeback, and Serbia toppled a strongman's ruling party. The big picture: Brazil denied Trump a close ally at the helm of Latin America's largest economy, snapping a streak of seven straight conservative wins in the region.
